LAWRENCEVILLE - Andres Larrieu ‘18 dropped his fork into the liquid trash bin last Tuesday, Kennedy House officials report.

“My advisor was standing behind me, having witnessed my blunder,” said Larrieu.

“There was no way I was going to get out of this situation without attempting to retrieve the fork. I could feel his gaze, expecting me to return my fork to the proper bin.”

Irwin’s liquid disposal bin is known for its flat, brownish color with cereal pieces floating about. Some civilians report seeing small animals in the bin.

One IInd Former was allegedly blinded in 2003 when a drop of the liquid splashed his eye.

A line was forming behind Larrieu; anticipation was building. With no other choice, Larrieu inserted his arm into the liquid, “randomly” feeling for the fork. There were reportedly several dozen other utensils who were abandoned in the liquid disposal bin by their users.

“It was cold, yet so warm in there.”

After desperately searching for his fork, Larrieu realized his fork was on the ground near the bin and his efforts were made in vain.
